Native Gardening
While Bonsai as a hobby is a passion of ours, so is Native Gardening!
As you can see from the pictures above of our native gardens, it is possible to create an oasis of any size, even in the city! By choosing to plant things that are indigenous to the Midwest, we can cultivate a vital habitat for native wildlife, and pollinators. Native plants are well-adapted to local soil, climate, and environmental conditions, making them more resilient as well as requiring less water, fertilizers, and pesticides. And native gardening helps fight against climate change by sequestering carbon and improving soil health. To read more check out out our Native Gardening in the Midwest blog.
